Well, I wanted to build a miniature spud gun that would be simple for my nephew of five to shoot with his uncle Nick. So I set out to the local hardware store and purchased some schedule 40 PVC that would be suitable for my design.

After a little modification, and some know how, I was able to quickly fashion, probably my favorite cannon in my arsenal, Spud Cadet. The best part about this potato gun, is that it will even fit in your pocket as seen in my video. You cannot go wrong with this gun.

The benefit of Spud Cadet is that it fires every time. It has the same sparker that most larger cannons have in a smaller chamber. Also, you will only need a small amount of propellant for an extraordinary result.
